The Jayalakshmi Equipments steel cable drag-chain has been designed to solve problems of supplying power and control to moving machine components.
It ensures a maximum of safety and reliability allowing a simultaneous supply of electricity, liquids and gas at any speed on all machines.
In addition to the economical use of this chain, assembly ease is increased.
The chain is delivered ready to install with mounting brackets, and on special request is available in stainless-steel. It fits all types of cables and hoses.

CONSTRUCTION.
- The Jayalakshmi Equipments steel cable drag-chain consists of galvanized steel links, joined with pins, rings and nylon anti-friction washers.
- Different types of construction :
- Steel frame with PVC dividers allowing adjustable cable and hose spacing.
- Aluminium in two parts : openings for cables and hoses are machined.

The type of chain is choosen according to following conditions
- Max diameter of borings (D)
D = Diameter cable d + 0.1d
- Checking of self-supporting length (C/2) according to the load (see table).
If self supporting lengths depend of the load required is greater than the table limits, the chain will be supported with rollers.
